Moroccan Embassy in UAE Launches Legal Document Registration for Expats

Following requests made by Moroccans residing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Moroccan Embassy has started the registration of legal documents for its nationals.
The Moroccan Embassy in the UAE has entrusted the management of this operation to a judge from the Supreme Council of the Judiciary and two adouls. Deeds of sale and purchase of real estate, shares or shares are concerned by this registration. Moroccans residing abroad hope that the service will be extended to the registration of marriage certificates and the definition of filiation.
To benefit from the current service, the applicant must bring the national identity card of the principal, a copy of the national card of the agent and a copy of the property certificate, shares or any other object of the power of attorney. A request must also be addressed to the embassy at its email address (sifmabo@embassyofmorocco.ae), reports the MAP.
Moroccans established in the United Arab Emirates are estimated at around 60,000 people spread across different regions of the country.
