Moroccan Eatery Aziza Ranks Among San Francisco’s Top 3 Restaurants, New York Times Reports

According to the ranking of a famous American newspaper, a Moroccan restaurant is in the top 3 of the favorite restaurants in San Francisco, United States.
Aziza, a Moroccan restaurant, ranks third in the ranking of the 25 best restaurants in San Francisco, United States, compiled by The New York Times as part of the Where to Eat: 25 Best series. Opened in 2001, then reopened in 2019 after a three-year hiatus, this neighborhood favorite offers classic Moroccan dishes. Chef Mourad Lahlou and his collaborators also serve hand-rolled couscous. Customers also delight in dishes like the confit chicken basteela and the braised lamb shank topped with a glaze that always oscillates between salty and sweet.
Abacà, a Filipino restaurant, tops the ranking, followed by the Malaysian restaurant Azalina’s. The restaurant takes fourth place. Then come the Palestinian-Jordanian restaurant Beit Rima arabic, the Korean restaurant Benu, Boulevard de California Continental, the Italian restaurant Cotogna, the Korean restaurant Daeho Kalbijjim and Beef Soup, the Mexican restaurant El Buen Comer, the Cantonese restaurant HK Lounge Bistro and the Mexican restaurant La Taqueria. The Pacific restaurant Liholiho Yacht Club takes 12th place.
It is followed by Little Shucker (seafood, raw bar), the Sino-American restaurant Mister Jiu’s, the Rustico-European restaurant The Morris, Nari (Thai, Californian) and The progress (New American). The Japanese restaurant Rintaro, the Korean San Ho Won, Shuggie’s Trash Pie&Natural Wine (pizza), the Chinese restaurant Yunbao Jiaozi, and the Californian restaurant Zuni Café close the podium.
