Moroccan drones neutralize five Polisario members

Five individuals suspected of being behind the firing of projectiles near Al Mahbes, in the Sahara, were eliminated by Moroccan military drones.
According to local sources, these people, close to the Polisario leadership, were known for their provocative actions towards the Moroccan army. The attack, which occurred last Saturday, targeted the commune of Mahbes where a festival commemorating the anniversary of the Green March was being held. Fortunately, no injuries are to be deplored despite the presence of a large gathering at the time of the events.
The perpetrators of the attack were neutralized by Moroccan drones near the security wall, not far from a military truck of the Polisario militias. This incident echoes a similar event in October 2023 where projectile fire on the city of Smara had caused the death of a person, a Moroccan residing abroad, and left three injured.
The commune of Al Mahbes, located in the province of Assa-Zag, hosted this weekend the third edition of the National Festival of the Green March.
