Moroccan Drone Strike Kills Senior Polisario Official Near Defense Wall
A high-ranking military official of the Polisario Front was reportedly killed during a targeted operation conducted by a Moroccan drone near the Mahbès area.
The intervention was triggered following the detection of "suspicious movements" near the defense wall. This is the fourth official of the separatist movement eliminated in this manner in a few months.
The operation targeted a military vehicle carrying rockets. According to information cited by Hespress, this vehicle was preparing to infiltrate the buffer zone to carry out an attack. The Royal Armed Forces (FAR) drone reportedly completely destroyed the vehicle and neutralized its occupants.
In recent years, Morocco has intensified its drone attacks primarily targeting military vehicles attempting to enter the Moroccan zone. These attacks have never been officially confirmed by Morocco.
