Moroccan Dirham Weakens Against Euro and Dollar, Reserves Drop 5.3%

During the week of December 13 to 19, the Moroccan currency depreciated by 0.92% against the European currency and by 0.28% against the dollar.
According to figures published by Bank Al Maghrib (BAM), no auction operation was carried out on the foreign exchange market.
As for the net international reserves, they reached 226 billion dirhams (MMDH), down 5.3% year-on-year.
During the same period, the central bank indicates that the Masi fell slightly by 0.1%, down sharply by 9.6% since the beginning of the year.
