Moroccan Dirham Strengthens Against Euro and Dollar, Reserves Dip

The Moroccan dirham appreciated by 0.65% against the euro and 0.88% against the dollar during the week of January 3 to 9.
According to Bank Al-Maghrib, in its note on its weekly indicators, no auction operation was carried out on the foreign exchange market.
As for the net international reserves, they stood at 229.7 billion dirhams, down 0.2% from the previous week, while on an annual basis, they show a decline of 4.9%.
BAM also injected a total of 70.3 billion dirhams, including 65 billion dirhams in the form of 7-day advances on tenders, 2.5 billion dirhams granted under the MSME financing support program and 2.8 billion dirhams through 24-hour advances.
