Moroccan Diaspora in France Explores Role in Kingdom’s New Development Model

Moroccans living abroad (MRE) are important actors in the development of the kingdom. The issue was once again at the center of a meeting held in Paris, at the initiative of the Franco-Moroccan association "Dynamic Maroc."
Under the theme "Moroccans of the world in France: what expectations and what contributions to the New Development Model?", this meeting allowed to recall the essential role of the Moroccan diaspora in strengthening the development process and the influence of the Kingdom.
This communication took place in the presence of several Moroccan personalities and 100 entrepreneurs working in various sectors in France. An opportunity for the President of the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME), Driss El Yazami, to insist on the role played by the diaspora in the economic, research and higher education fields, but also in the cultural field.
Stressing the need to strengthen the work of knowledge of the Moroccan community as a whole, the official noted that it has undergone an "extraordinary" and "very rapid" transformation.
For her part, Nada Bakkali, Consul General of the Kingdom in Paris, called on this community to actively participate in the development efforts underway in Morocco, for a "united, strong and open" Morocco on all its skills in order to strengthen the country’s march towards more progress.
