Moroccan Diaspora Boosts GNV Ferry Company’s Passenger Numbers by 46%

The reopening of borders and the organization this year of the Marhaba operation have benefited the Italian maritime shipping company Grandi Navi Veloci (GNV), which has drawn up a positive balance sheet at the end of the season and announced an increase in its capacity for next year.
After a difficult period due to the health crisis, the shipping company is pleased with its results, marked by sales that have exploded in recent months. A remarkable increase in the number of passengers has been recorded, the management indicated, during the GNV Awards 2022.
According to the figures, GNV recorded a 46% increase in the number of passengers compared to the 2021 financial year. It should be noted that the ferry company is one of the main shipping companies operating in the cabotage and passenger transport sector worldwide.
The shipping company has a fleet of 25 ships and operates on 31 lines in seven different countries, to and from Morocco, Spain, France, Albania, Tunisia, Malta, Sardinia and Sicily.
