Moroccan-Designed Hydrogen SUV NamX HUV Set for 2025 Launch

The Franco-Moroccan, Faouzi Annajah, son of a Moroccan worker who worked for more than 35 years at the Renault manufacturer, is the designer of the NamX HUV, a zero-emission fuel cell SUV that will be launched in 2025.
NamX HUV, the first hydrogen SUV using removable capsules, was presented on May 11 at the Pininfarina headquarters, not far from Turin, Italy, reports Le Mag Sport Auto. Designed by NamX, an Afro-European technology alliance, designed by Pininfarina, this SUV will be "the world’s first car, powered by a patented removable tank system that promises to revolutionize the clean mobility experience and make hydrogen fuel widely available," NamX said in a statement. According to the company, the car will begin its industrialization phase in 2023, will be built in Morocco, and will be marketed in 2025.
"Our ambition is twofold, to be on the one hand a new benchmark player in the zero-emission automotive world, and on the other hand to constantly explore with our customers new innovations to facilitate mobility. NAMX is a collective project built with the best industrial and technical partners in Europe and Africa," said the Franco-Moroccan Faouzi Annajah, founder and president of NAMX.
"Pininfarina is not just pure design and style, it is also innovation, user experience and bringing our vision of sustainable future to life. The NAMX HUV is simply at the heart of our DNA: inventing the best driving experience for infinite mobility, with style," said Paolo Pininfarina, chairman of the firm.
