Moroccan Culture Ministry to Cover Medical Costs for Ailing Actor Noureddine Bikr

The deterioration of the health of actor Noureddine Bikr — very ill for a year - is a concern for Mehdi Bensaïd, Minister of Culture. The latter promises to cover the medical expenses of the artist.
The multiple calls for help launched on social networks by his artist friends, his family and the lovers of comedy have finally been heard. "I was contacted this morning (Sunday, December 26) by a member of the Minister of Culture’s office, who told me that his department would cover his health care," Mohammed Choubi, a friend of the artist, and one of those who mobilized for him on Facebook, told Le360.
For a year, Noureddine Bikr’s health has deteriorated to the point that he is said to have lost the ability to speak, which has prompted calls for mobilization. "I am a friend, and I demand with my friends, the other artist friends of the comedian Noureddine Bikr, a mobilization to care for this pioneer of Moroccan theater and television suffering from serious after-effects following a deterioration of his health condition. Yet another artist who finds himself in critical health without having the means to assume his care [...] ", had deplored Mohammed Choubi on Facebook.
"When will we see our artists no longer suffer such humiliation? Wouldn’t it be time to review the status of artistic activity and put in place mechanisms that allow our artists to live and die with dignity?" he had added.
