Moroccan Court Upholds Sentences in High-Profile "Hamza mon BB" Cybercrime Case

The verdict handed down by the court of first instance last February in the "Hamza mon BB" case remains unchanged. The Court of Appeal of Marrakech has confirmed the same sentences against the three defendants.
YouTuber Soukaïna Jannah, alias "Glamour", journalist Simo Daher and the owner of a car rental agency, Adnane Saken, are returning to prison to serve their two-year prison sentences each, accompanied by a fine of 10,000 DH.
To recall, the three defendants were found guilty of "participation in fraudulent access to the computer data system", "deliberate participation in obstructing the functioning of this system, disrupting it and changing its mode of processing", "dissemination of image and statements of others without their consent", and "dissemination of false facts for the sole purpose of harming the privacy of individuals and defaming them".
