Moroccan Citizens Return Home from Melilla, Enter Quarantine in Nador

After six months of hardship, the Moroccans blocked in Melilla have returned to their families. The repatriation was given special care, in order to ensure the health safety of these citizens who have spent several months in extremely difficult conditions.
The local authorities of Nador have allocated 8 buses to welcome a first group of 200 people at the border post separating Bni Nssar and Melilla. These people were housed in a hotel in the city to undergo the required tests and preventive quarantine. The authorities proceeded with a repatriation by groups in order to preserve the safety of the repatriated.
If these repatriated nationals were able to get out of the situation, this is not the case for the dual nationals still blocked in Nador. They say they have found no interlocutor to help them find a favorable solution to their desire to leave Nador. Some have still managed to go to Spain with the help of local associations who bought them plane tickets.
