Moroccan Cities Spruce Up Ahead of King Mohammed VI’s Visit
Tetouan, M’diq and Fnideq are preparing to welcome King Mohammed VI. Cleaning operations have been undertaken in this regard.
Street cleaning work, painting of sidewalks and pedestrian crossings... The prefectures of Tetouan and M’diq-Fnideq are busy making the city clean for the upcoming visit of King Mohammed VI in the next few days. Hespress was able to observe the embellishment work on the various main avenues and public squares, as well as the embellishment of the lawns and the planting of roses and flowers at the main intersections at the entrances and exits of the cities of Tetouan, M’diq, Martil and Fnideq.
Other works are added to the cleaning operations. These are the painting works of the sidewalks and pedestrian crossings in the city of Martil, in particular along the main avenue of the Cabo Negro tourist complex. The objective is to develop certain streets and repaint the sidewalks to give them an elegant and orderly appearance.
The northern cities, including M’diq, Tetouan, Tangier and Al Hoceima, are among King Mohammed VI’s favorite destinations. He visits them regularly during each summer period.
