Moroccan Cities Rank High in French Travel Preferences for 2024

The French want to fly to distant and sunny destinations next year. According to the annual study by Booking.com on travel forecasts for 2024, Marrakech and Agadir are the two Moroccan cities most popular with the French. The former ranks fourth in the top 10 of the most popular destinations for the French in 2024, while the latter is in fifth place.

Tokyo (Japan) tops the top 10. It is followed by Ubud (Indonesia) and Bangkok (Thailand). Edinburgh (United Kingdom) takes 6th place. It is followed by another city in the United Kingdom, London. Montreal (Canada) is in 8th place. Vienna (Austria) and Munich (Germany) complete the top 10 of the most popular destinations for the French in 2024.

This study was conducted by Travel Predictions 2024 for the hotel booking site Booking.com. It was conducted with a sample of 1,011 French adults who plan to travel for business or leisure in the next 12 to 24 months.
