Moroccan TV Channel 2M Warned for Hidden Advertising in Real Estate Segment

The 2M channel has just been sanctioned again. The Higher Council for Audiovisual Communication (CSCA) has issued a warning to the channel for clandestine advertising.
On March 19, 2M Morocco did not hesitate to use "promotional" terms in favor of a sponsor of the program, namely the real estate developer Prestigia, describing his project as an "exceptional place", "a residential complex containing a football pitch, the beach, golf, and many activities", as well as comments from one of the competitors on the same subject, through the use of terms such as "a very beautiful place (..) that we liked a lot".
During the same program, a representative of the group had intervened at the request of a candidate using the following terms: "Nations beach, it’s well-being, conviviality, which rhymes perfectly with gastronomy, I think we couldn’t have done better tonight".
The CSCA notified the company "Soread-2M" of its decision and ordered its publication in the Official Bulletin, specifying that it "also proceeds from several legal and regulatory provisions".
