Moroccan Celebrity Journalist Faces Arrest Warrant in ’Hamza Mon Bébé’ Scandal
Mohamed Benbachir, alias Simo Benbachir, is the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by the Marrakech prosecutor’s office on Friday, February 28, 2020. The celebrity journalist would be heavily involved in the "Hamza mon bébé" case.
The Marrakech prosecutor’s office made this decision after Mohamed Belbachir was named during the interrogations of many of the accused.
Fashion designer Aicha Ayach, extradited from the United Arab Emirates to Morocco, told investigators that the celebrity journalist is the real administrator of the anonymous "Hamza mon bb" accounts, reports Barlamane. She denied participating in the management of these accounts, but admitted to being friends with Simo Belbachir.
The celebrity journalist resides in Los Angeles, United States.
