Moroccan Cafe Chaos: European Passport-Wielding Family Sparks Outrage in Agadir Marina
Members of a Moroccan family residing in France caused disorder in a well-known cafe in the Marina of Agadir, after a server refused to satisfy them. Inappropriate behavior that sparked a lively controversy on social media.
According to local sources and witnesses, it all started when the cafe server asked the family members not to sit down because their order was "to go". A refusal that provoked the anger of some family members who began to hurl insults and humiliating remarks at the establishment’s staff.
In the aftermath, a woman, a member of the family, approached the cafe owner to demand the dismissal of the server. Some overturned tables and caused disorder in the cafe, under the gaze of the other stunned customers. The family members would then have brandished European passports to the management of the establishment, accompanied by threatening remarks of the kind: "Today, we’re closing the cafe!".
The incident provoked the indignation of the cafe’s customers and Internet users who watched the video of the scene on social media. No one is above Moroccan law, even if they hold a foreign passport, denounced the Internet users, considering that such behavior undermines the image of the Moroccan community abroad.
