Moroccan Business Leaders to Visit Israel for Economic Forum, Marking New Trade Ties

The General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) will carry out an economic mission to Tel Aviv from December 12 to 15, on the sidelines of the launch of the new Casablanca-Tel Aviv air link.
The President of the CGEM, Chakib Alj, will lead the Moroccan delegation composed of more than 70 economic operators active in various sectors of common interest such as tourism, industry, agriculture, technology and innovation, education, health, finance and insurance, renewable energies, textiles, etc. indicates the Confederation in a press release.

"Given the similarities and complementarities between the Moroccan and Israeli economies, countless opportunities are available to our respective economic operators, in various sectors and on new markets. This mission aims to build, with our Israeli counterparts, win-win business partnerships that are conducive to growth for our national companies," said Chakib Alj, quoted in the press release.

This mission organized on the sidelines of the launch of the new Casablanca-Tel Aviv air route aims to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, economically and commercially, and to create a close link between the Moroccan and Israeli business world.
During the mission, the Moroccan delegation will participate in the Israel-Morocco economic forum to be held on December 13, organized in partnership with the Israeli Employers and Business Organization (IEBO). B2B meetings as well as visits to industrial and agricultural sites are also planned.
