Moroccan-Born Fighter Clinches Spanish Kickboxing Title at 25

Hassan Achahouat is the new Spanish kickboxing champion. Of Moroccan origin and residing in Algeciras since his childhood, this young 25-year-old athlete weighing 67 kilos has just reached a new milestone in the discipline.
It is at the "Evo" Gym in Algeciras, in southern Spain, that Hassan refines his art, under the guidance of his coach. After starting with taekwondo at the age of 12, he turned to K-1 Kickboxing, where he quickly climbed the ranks. With a successful amateur career, he became Andalusian champion and took third place in the Spanish championship. These feats are the result of constant progress and hard work, writes the website diarioarea.com.
Hassan’s record is impressive. In addition to the prestigious local title of ’The Battle of the Strait’ (La Batalla del Estrecho), he can now boast of being the Spanish champion. This sporting success has not been without sacrifices, the Moroccan having had to juggle between his job and his training. He shares his joy, notably his lightning victory where he knocked out his opponent in less than a minute in the first round.
