Moroccan Beauty YouTuber Jailed After Confrontation with Police

Esthetician expert, Fatima Maazi, known as Oum Mouhab, lived with her husband and son in Saudi Arabia, before becoming famous by creating her own YouTube channel.

In one of her videos, the YouTube star, refusing to submit to a vehicle document check, did not hesitate to accuse elements of the Royal Gendarmerie of abuse of power and misuse of the law.

Held in pre-trial detention at the Oukacha prison since November 11, Oum Mouhab was sentenced by the Court of First Instance in Casablanca to 2 months in prison with a flat fine. She is accused of contempt of gendarmes and refusal to comply.
