Moroccan Authorities Seize Drug Traffickers’ 4x4s and Jet Skis in Tangier Crackdown

The police and royal gendarmerie services in Tangier have recently seized several 4x4 vehicles and jet skis belonging to drug traffickers.
The police and gendarmes have set up roadblocks around Tangier and the northern regions to strengthen the control of 4x4 vehicles, some of which belong to drug traffickers wanted by the justice system, reports the daily Al Akhbar. Since the launch of this operation, drug traffickers have stopped their training on the beaches with these vehicles.
The law enforcement agencies have also been instructed to control the jet skis, several of which were seized during a recent operation carried out by the Tangier police services. Drug traffickers use these very fast craft to escape the agents. Several individuals, arrested, have admitted to having transported drugs on jet skis.
