Moroccan Authorities Hunt Drug Lord Linked to Double Homicide in Nador

Elements of the National Brigade of the Judicial Police (BNPJ) and the Royal Gendarmerie in the province of Nador are continuing their search to find a drug baron, the alleged mastermind of the murder of two people.
The wanted drug baron is behind two murders committed in Nador in recent days. On Friday, a man was found dead in his 4X4 vehicle. He was shot dead by an armed criminal gang who were chasing him in two cars, reported the Arabic-language daily Assabah. Two other individuals who were in the victim’s car were injured. Arrested and then admitted to the hospital, they are receiving care under strict surveillance. On Sunday at dawn, another man was murdered following a suspicious behavior.
The gendarmerie, the judicial police and the intelligence services are multiplying the searches to find the alleged mastermind of these murders and the members of his gang. To prevent him from leaving the national territory, the authorities have strengthened the controls at certain points around and in the city of Nador.
