Moroccan Authorities Apprehend Three Military Deserters from Royal Armed Forces Training Center

Elements of the Royal Gendarmerie arrested, on Friday, November 22, three conscripts who had deserted the training center of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) in Kasbat Tadla.
The three deserter conscripts were apprehended at their respective homes in the Azib Errouhi, Sidi Bouzid and Sid L’Mokhtar districts, reports the newspaper Al Massae.
According to the same source, the services of the royal gendarmerie launched the investigations after receiving arrest warrants issued against the three deserters. Their location was the result of a collaboration between the authorities and the investigators.
Pending their transfer to the Kasbat Tadla barracks, their referral to the Military Court of Salé, the three deserter conscripts were placed in custody. They risk imprisonment sentences of one month to one year accompanied by a fine of 2,000 dirhams, according to the applicable texts in the matter.
