The information circulating about the acquittal of a person arrested for corruption is false and is part of an attempt to sabotage the fight against corruption. The Attorney General of the King at the Court of Appeal of Marrakech has provided a formal denial.
It is an electronic site that published the article entitled "Justice Scandal: the court acquits an accused arrested while receiving a bribe of one billion". This was enough to provoke the reaction of the Attorney General of the King at the Court of Appeal of Marrakech.
In a press release, he explained to the public that "this information is erroneous and unfounded", without however providing more details on this case.
