Montpellier Airport: record program for Morocco

For the summer season of 2026, the airport in the Hérault region offers 1,460,000 seats, an increase of 3.2%. Among the 39 destinations offered by fourteen airlines, Morocco occupies a central place in this growth strategy. The airline Transavia is inaugurating a direct link to Tangier and is strengthening its capacity to Marrakech to meet the growing demand from regional travelers.

The Moroccan network is also benefiting from an increase in frequencies on the platform’s historical lines. As of April 22, an additional weekly rotation is added to Rabat. This deployment allows Montpellier-Méditerranée Airport to aim for a rebound after a slightly declining traffic in 2025.
