Transavia continues its expansion in Morocco with a direct flight to Agadir

The airline Transavia has recently launched a new direct connection between Montpellier and Agadir. This route opening aims to "strengthen air connectivity to one of the most important tourist destinations in the Kingdom".

Operational since October 28, 2025, this route is served three times a week. Passengers can travel on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, on flights operated by Airbus A320 aircraft.

For Montpellier Airport, this opening is significant. Its CEO, Emmanuel Brehmer, pointed out that Agadir is added to the other Moroccan destinations already offered by the airline. He specified that Transavia is "now the leading airline in terms of passenger numbers and destinations from the French city".

This development is part of the operator’s overall strategy, which positions itself as the leading low-cost airline departing from Paris. Transavia operates nearly 200 routes from its French bases to Europe and the Mediterranean basin, and transported nearly 14 million passengers in 2024.
