Mohammedia Officials Deny Hammam Reopenings Amid COVID-19 Restrictions

The prefecture of Mohammedia has formally denied the "reopening" of hammams. It has urged the promoters of these Moorish baths to "respect" the decisions of the government authorities.
False! No hammam has been opened in Mohammedia, the competent authorities have assured.
As for the General Union of Enterprises and Professions, it welcomed a possible new decision taken "by the local authorities of Mohammedia concerning the reopening of hammams at the provincial level."
In a statement, the prefectural authorities specified that "all the preventive measures taken and previously announced will be maintained in this regard."
On Tuesday, January 5, the city recorded 34 new cases but no deaths.
