Mohammed V University of Rabat Tops Moroccan Universities in Global Ranking

According to a ranking by "University Ranking by Academic Performance", the Mohammed V University of Rabat is one of the best in Morocco for the 2019-2020 academic year.
The presidency of Mohammed V University, in a press release, stressed that "this institution ranks 1183rd internationally, out of a total of 2,500 universities ranked among the 4,000 best in the world". This international ranking takes into account "the quality and quantity of scientific production in 61 specialized fields, as well as on clearly defined criteria and on data obtained from publicly available sources".
It added that "the data used come from the indexed international scientific database, ’Web of Science’. As for the indicators considered, they take into account "the nature of scientific publications in various disciplines and are based on the ranking of journals in terms of impact factor," he specified.
According to him, this well-deserved performance not only "confirms the enormous efforts made by the various components of the university," but also reveals "its integrated strategic vision." The president did not fail to reaffirm the motto of the university: "Towards an entrepreneurial, entrepreneurial and collectively performing university".
