MMA Fighter Amber Leibrock Embraces Islam, Finds New Path to Faith

Amber Leibrock, famous American mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter, has converted to Islam. She expresses her happiness to see that "everything" "guides her on a path" that "brings her" closer to God.
It was on her Instagram account that Amber Leibrock announced the news to her subscribers. "The last few months have been transformative for me," she rejoices. "I’ve been through ups and downs. I’ve worked harder than ever and yet I’ve known failure. In my loneliness, I felt a deep love and my life was turned upside down. Then, in an instant, everything began to make sense. Everything guides me on a path that brings me closer to Allah and helps me find my faith."
Her conversion to Islam has allowed her to regain her peace and happiness. "I feel closer to the incredible people in my life and to myself than ever before. So far, everything has unfolded exactly as it should, and it was worth it. It’s not my timing, but Allah’s, and I have total trust in Him, whatever the ups and downs," Leibrock added.
The 35-year-old woman’s conversion to Islam was influenced by her mentor, Mujeed Hameed. He initiated her into the Muslim faith and helped her change. In a video posted on YouTube, we see her pronounce the Shahadah (profession of faith) at the East Bay Community Center in the United States.
