Thomas Partey now a Muslim? The publication of photos of the Arsenal midfielder posing joyfully alongside an imam and holding a Quran in his hands has gone viral on social media. "Praise be to God who guides whom He wills. May Almighty God make him steadfast in Islam," the preacher tweeted. The 28-year-old player has not yet officially announced his conversion to Islam.
Recently, it was Clarence Seedorf, a figure of Dutch football who became a coach, who converted to Islam in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. "Thank you for all the kind messages sent to celebrate my entry into the Muslim family. I am very happy and delighted to join all the brothers and sisters around the world, especially my lovely Sophia who has taught me more deeply the meaning of Islam. I have not changed my name and I will continue to wear the name given to me by my parents, Clarence Seedorf! I send all my love to everyone," the former AC Milan star wrote in a post published on social media on Friday to announce his conversion to Islam.
