Arsenal’s Thomas Partey Faces Rape Allegation from Girlfriend, Denies Charges

Thomas Partey, Ghanaian international and Arsenal midfielder, is accused of rape by his Moroccan girlfriend after refusing to marry her during their trip to Spain.
The alleged rape took place in June 2022, reports Ghpage. Thomas Partey was in Ghana that month, which suggests he would not have committed this rape of which his Moroccan girlfriend accuses him. "Thomas Partey will be acquitted of all charges, as the public prosecutor has withdrawn the rape charges against the footballer, citing insufficient evidence, but it’s not over yet, as another woman who also falsely accused him is making the situation worse," said a source (Kojo Smith). An accusation of rape of a woman in her twenties was reported to the police on July 4, and a player in his twenties was arrested, reported SportsBible.com, without specifying whether or not it was Thomas Partey.
The Arsenal star has not officially responded to the rape allegations against him. In various posts on Twitter, Kojo Smith has said that Thomas Partey was shocked that the woman - who forced him to convert to Islam - could spread such lies, especially after he spent nearly £700,000 on their trip. He will add that the Ghanaian international has addressed the issue with his family and explained that the accusations against him were false, revealing that his partner Sarah Bella was behind the accusations.
