Missing 12-Year-Old Girl Found Safe at Marrakech Train Station After Casablanca Disappearance

Missing since last Wednesday, a 12-year-old girl was found 48 hours later at the Marrakech train station. She had taken the train from Casablanca.
In a statement, the Casablanca police prefecture said that a disappearance had been reported by her family, who live in the Sidi Moumen neighborhood. A nationwide search notice was issued.
Found safe and sound in Marrakech by a tourist police brigade, the girl, whose circumstances of disappearance are still unclear, provided no explanation to either the investigators or her family.
She was returned to her family, while an investigation has been opened under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office to determine the circumstances of this mysterious case.
