Minor Arrested in Ceuta Shooting of Moroccan Teen, Four Suspects in Custody

The police arrested a minor in Ceuta for his involvement in the shooting in which a 17-year-old Moroccan minor was seriously injured on February 20. The victim is still hospitalized.
The investigation opened has led to the arrest of the minor, accused of an alleged crime of attempted homicide for his participation in the shooting that resulted in the injury of the Moroccan minor, indicate police sources to EFE, recalling that three other people, all adults and members of the same family, have already been arrested and placed in pre-trial detention as part of this case.
The 17-year-old victim, residing in the La Esperanza minors’ center, was hit during the shooting that was recorded in the Príncipe Alfonso neighborhood where he had gone to visit a relative. The young man received a bullet in the chest and had to undergo emergency surgery at the hospital where he is still receiving care. The minor was not the target of these gunshots, according to the investigation.
