Three Arrested in Ceuta for Suspected Murder of Missing Moroccan Teen

National police agents in Ceuta arrested on Monday three young people (including a minor and a woman), accused of the murder of Mohamed Ali Lamsseyeh, 17, which occurred in the García Aldave neighborhood a year ago.
Accused of homicide, according to sources close to the investigation, the suspects have been transferred to the police station for questioning. Investigators are actively searching for the body of the victim, Mohamed Ali Lamsseyeh, who went missing on January 13, 2022.
His family, residing in the El Gallo neighborhood, who initially thought his disappearance was voluntary, is now convinced otherwise. "I’m sure something happened to him," said his mother, Asma, who unsuccessfully tried to call Mohamed on the day of his disappearance, as he was supposed to pick her up from work as usual.
The arrested persons would be "friends" of Mohamed and would reside in the El Príncipe and Los Rosales neighborhoods, near the border with Morocco, where the police arrested last week the alleged murderer of another Mohamed, an eight-year-old boy.
