AC Milan Leads Race to Sign Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech Amid Marseille Interest
Between AC Milan and Olympique de Marseille, which club will manage to recruit the Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech? Answer in the next few days but the Italian club seems very advanced in the negotiations with Chelsea.
According to Calciomercato.com, the probability that Ziyech will be transferred to Milan is very strong. Some media had claimed that the two clubs had agreed on an amount estimated at less than 30 million euros, while the London club had hoped to get much more from the departure of the Moroccan player.
One thing is certain, Ziyech will leave this summer, no longer being part of Thomas Tuchel’s plans who has his sights set on Raheem Sterling from Manchester City and Raphinha from Leeds. However, being willing to let the Moroccan player go does not mean that he has to be sold off. Milan would be willing to unlock 20 to 25 million euros as the amount of the loan with a purchase obligation. But what about Marseille?
Ziyech’s salary (6.5 million euros gross per year at Chelsea) would be the only question that currently escapes any negotiation.
