Everton Eyes Chelsea’s Ziyech, Challenging AC Milan for Transfer

While negotiations would be in the process of being finalized with AC Milan for the transfer of Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech, Everton is positioning itself, very excited by the player’s profile and intends to recruit him during the summer transfer window.
Competition for AC Milan, which certainly thought it was safe from a last-minute turnaround, especially since the media had announced that Ziyech’s transfer to the Italian club was only a matter of days. But according to statements made to Give Me Sport by journalist Dean Jones, Hakim Ziyech is also on Everton’s radar. Former Chelsea coach Frank Lampard is eager to reunite with the player who so impressed him when he was still his coach.
Everton could perhaps exchange the 29-year-old player against Richarlison whose future is shrouded in uncertainty. Arrived in 2020 at Chelsea, Hakim Ziyech was unable to live up to the hopes placed in him. His uneven performances have often made him a player sidelined during the past season. He only participated in 27 of Chelsea’s 63 matches, with eight goals scored and six assists provided.
He is currently a player in search of new experiences and above all more playing time who finds himself in the sights of several clubs including AC Milan and Everton. The next few days will determine which of the two clubs will succeed in transferring the Moroccan player or if Chelsea has decided, after all considerations, to continue with him, especially since the club has repeatedly rejected offers, claiming that Ziyech felt good within the club.
