Melilla Merchants Offer Vacant Warehouses to Attract New Businesses After Border Closure

Melilla merchants offer to make their unused warehouses available in the short term to companies wishing to set up in the autonomous city, since the closure of the border with Morocco.

"We have learned that the Minister of Tourism and the General Director of the region will have a meeting this Monday with representatives of the Malaga technology park, and we have proposed the use of our warehouses as existing, available short-term spaces, for companies that want to settle in Melilla," said Abdeselam Mohamed, the president of the Melilla Merchants Association (ACSEMEL), specifying that these spaces have a certain advantage due to their proximity to the airport.

Abdeselam Mohamed assured that the members of the autonomous city government have shown great interest in this proposal and have promised to submit it to the managers of the Malaga technology park.
