Some citizens who do not comply with these rules return to Morocco, others cross the border, thus accepting to undergo sanctions, reports El Faro de Melilla. Since the reopening of the borders last Tuesday, some 25 citizens of the city have violated these rules, announced Sabrina Moh, ensuring that apart from these cases, no "serious problem" has been recorded.
In 24 hours, more than 1,500 people and about 400 vehicles crossed the Beni Ensar border from Melilla and more than 1,400 people and nearly 600 vehicles from Morocco, the government delegate added, hailing the excellent coordination between the State security forces, the local police and the agents in charge of checking health certificates.
