Meknes People’s University Launches Free Public Courses in Social Sciences

The People’s University of Meknes has decided to offer free courses open to all, it is indicated in a press release.
Thus, courses and conferences in law, economics, sociology, political science, anthropology, development, regional governance and territorial management will be given by specialists and academics, said the president of this university, Mustapha Merizak, according to whom "this new civic space aims to promote equity and justice in the fields of knowledge, teaching, training and education."
These courses will be open to young and old, local and regional actors and different components of society, supported the sociology researcher, for whom "the People’s University will allow young people to be trained but also to exchange with elected officials and economic and social actors, in order to bring their views and experiences closer together."
