Moroccan Medical Students Scammed Out of Millions in Fake Ukrainian University Enrollment Scheme

Some 45 young Moroccan medical students have been the target of a scam, set up by a Pakistani intermediary. The latter relieved them of millions of cents, claiming that he would enroll them at the Kirovohrad Medical University in Ukraine.
While claiming to be an intermediary for their registration at the Kirovohrad Medical University in the Ukrainian city, the Pakistani immediately took off after receiving the millions of cents intended to pay their tuition fees.
The administration of the University of Donetsk in Kirovohrad was therefore forced to prohibit students who had not paid their registration fees from joining their classes, leaving them in total dismay.
According to the Arabic-language press, officials from the Moroccan embassy, in coordination with the embassies of other Arab countries, have met with Ukrainian officials to find a solution to this scam that has affected more than 500 students of different Arab nationalities.
