McDonald’s will serve free meals every day in 19 cities in Morocco. This is the company’s contribution to the wave of solidarity noticeable in the country since the first case of coronavirus contamination was detected.
It is under the hashtag #Meta7dine that this initiative was born. It targets only people in difficulty and those who are vulnerable. In a press release explaining the rationale behind this action, McDonald’s pays tribute to the central and local authorities who have helped the company coordinate this social crusade.
In the same vein, it thanks Jumia Food, its partner who handles the logistics part.
