McDonald’s Morocco Distributes Over 126,000 Free Meals to Underprivileged During Crisis

Since Mcdonald’s Morocco decided to join the wave of solidarity, it has already distributed nearly 126,477 meals. Under the slogan #Mta7dine, many underprivileged people are finding food during this difficult period marked by very strict restrictive measures.
The restaurant chain said that "nearly 10,000 meals are distributed every day in 19 cities of the kingdom to people in difficulty, thanks to the efforts of all the components of McDonald’s Morocco". This would not have been possible without its partner, Jumia Food, which has been handling the logistics part since the launch of the campaign. The central and local authorities are also supporting the initiative, in terms of support and coordination.
"The list of beneficiaries (charitable associations, hospitals and people in difficult situations) is proposed by the local authority of each city and the operation takes place under their strict supervision". McDonald’s invites any association or entity wishing to benefit from this initiative to "submit its request to the competent authority in the territory of its residence". The restaurant chain "assures that it will do what is necessary to satisfy all requests within the limits of the possible".
