Wednesday 15 June 2022, by Prince

The Marhaba Operation, the largest migratory movement between Europe and Morocco, starts this Wednesday, June 15, after two years of cancellation. More than 15,000 Spanish security forces personnel have been mobilized for the occasion.

Canceled in 2020 for health reasons and in 2021 due to the diplomatic crisis between Spain and Morocco, the Marhaba Operation resumes this Wednesday, June 15. The State Committee for Coordination and Management (CECOD) of this operation in Spain, met in mid-April to prepare the meeting of the Spanish-Moroccan Joint Commission which was held on May 5 in Rabat, in order to define the conditions for the conduct of the 2022 edition of this operation which promises to be exceptional, recalls Europa Press.
