Marriage: the union between a Vietnamese and a Moroccan becomes viral

The union between Doan Thi Hoa, originally from Vietnam, and Mostafa Chadii, a Moroccan citizen, has become a viral phenomenon after the images of their ceremony were broadcast around the world. Celebrated in grand style in Morocco in mid-December, the event captivated Internet users with its unique blend of ancestral traditions and its intercontinental romantic story.

A new kind of wedding celebration is shaking the digital sphere. Doan Thi Hoa, a 35-year-old Vietnamese woman, and Mostafa Chadii, a 33-year-old Moroccan, have seen the images of their wedding exceed six million views in just a few days. Organized on December 12 in the groom’s hometown, the two-day ceremony respected the most prestigious rituals of the kingdom, transforming the bride into a true central figure of a living cultural spectacle, explains a Vietnamese media.

Dressed successively in five traditional wedding gowns, the bride followed the ritual of the "Ammaria", carried in a palanquin to the cheers of the guests. Between each change of outfit, orchestrated by a team of dedicated professionals, she discovered the opulence of Moroccan customs, including the presentation of five richly decorated chests containing gold jewelry, luxury items and cosmetics. For Doan Thi Hoa, this total immersion was marked by the constant attention of her in-laws, aimed at fully integrating her into her new culture.

The story of the couple began in Dubai in 2021, where Doan Thi Hoa managed a beauty salon and Mostafa Chadii ran a private company. After four years of living together in the United Arab Emirates, the couple sealed their union with the blessing of their respective families. The bride’s family, having made the trip from Vietnam, said they were particularly touched by the welcome and respect shown by the groom’s relatives, stressing that the language barrier had not hindered the human warmth of the exchanges.

Now back in Dubai for their professional activities, the newlyweds are already planning a future trip to Vietnam to introduce the bride’s native land to her husband.
