Marrakech Rape Case: Three Arrested for Assaulting Orphaned Sisters
Three people, including two minors, were placed in pre-trial detention by the investigating judge in Marrakech for rape. The victims are two sisters whose mother was coldly murdered.
Two of the accused were placed in detention last Monday, in the Loudaya prison and the third in a detention center for minors. According to the daily Al Massae, the facts date back to Thursday, September 24. The two sisters reported to the gendarmerie services of Sidi Mokhtar that they had been victims of rape.
The accused were quickly located and arrested by the gendarmes. They were then placed in custody after being questioned in order to find out the reasons behind this behavior.
According to the daily Al Massae, the three accused were brought before the competent prosecutor’s office. The date of their hearing has been set for Wednesday, October 21.
