Marrakech Ranks Among World’s Top 25 Cultural Cities, American Website Reports

A Moroccan city is among the 25 best cultural cities in the world, according to a ranking by the American website "Insider Monkey".
Thanks to its landscape, cultural diversity and architecture, the city of Marrakech is one of the most cultural cities in the world, according to this ranking. "Cities that scored between 0 and 0.3 points only have historical architectural elements, those that scored between 0.3 and 0.6 have historical architecture and cultural diversity, while cities with more than 0.6 points have the three elements taken into account in this ranking," explains the American website.
With a score of 0.2, the ochre city is ranked 20th, ahead of Venice (21st), Prague (22nd), Vienna (23rd), Florence (24th) and Dublin (25th). "Jemaa el-Fna Square and the Majorelle Garden are among the main attractions of Marrakech that reflect through its palaces and mosques its rich past, thus creating a landscape of colors, sounds and smells. The contemporary artistic landscape of this city confirms its position as a global cultural center," it is noted.
