Marrakech Ranks 13th in TripAdvisor’s Top Global Destinations for 2021

Marrakech has been named one of the most popular destinations in 2021. The ochre city ranks 13th worldwide, far ahead of Florence (18th), Lisbon (21st) or even New York (22nd) and Santorini (23rd), according to the specialized site TripAdvisor.

According to Daily Mail, Marrakech is outpaced by the Greek island of Crete (7th), Barcelona (9th) and Istanbul (10th). The Indonesian island of Bali has been voted the world’s most popular tourist destination for 2021. It dethrones London, which ranks 2nd, just ahead of Dubai, Rome and Paris.

Haley Colemann, a spokesperson for TripAdvisor, said these destinations are popular with travelers who "want to visit them next - whether it’s an existing tourist gem or a spot off the radar not yet firmly on the map - for international travelers".
