A new operation targeted unauthorized car park attendants in Marrakech. Officers from the 22nd police precinct, covering the Guéliz area, arrested five people suspected of demanding money from motorists under the pretext of watching their vehicles.

Among those arrested were foreign nationals. The suspects allegedly exploited public spaces to demand sums from drivers without legal authorization or official status.
The intervention followed several complaints from citizens and visitors regarding the practices of unauthorized "yellow vests," particularly on busy streets in Guéliz.
Police intervened after surveillance operations on Yaacoub El Mansour and Zerktouni boulevards, two major thoroughfares in the district, known for their commercial activity and parking pressure.
