Marrakech’s La Mamounia Named Top 3 Luxury Hotel Worldwide by Robb Report

La Mamounia in Marrakech ranks third in the ranking of the 50 best prestige hotels, compiled by a famous American magazine.
New international recognition for La Mamounia in Marrakech. The prestigious American magazine Robb Report has placed it in its top 50 of the best luxury hotels in the world. Last week, this 5-star hotel was featured in the Travel and Leisure ranking. In 2021, it was ranked the best hotel in the world for the 3rd time, and the best hotel in Africa by 800,000 readers of the luxury and style magazine Conde Nast Traveler.
Created in 1923, La Mamounia is preparing to celebrate its centenary. The hotel palace "is currently undergoing a phase of embellishment to offer visitors a new face at the start of the school year," reports the daily Les Inspirations Éco. Saved from the privatization envisaged in 2019, it is part of a hotel group born from the alliance of OCP, ONCF (National Railway Office) and the Hassan II Fund for Economic and Social Development. La Mamounia, which has withstood the test of time, is one of the main attractions for travelers from around the world.
