Marrakech Launches One-Stop Urban Planning Service for Moroccan Expats

The Urban Agency of Marrakech (AUM) has just set up a one-stop shop dedicated to Moroccans residing abroad (MREs). Its objective is to handle all files related to the construction and urban planning sectors.
The implementation of this one-stop shop is part of the measures taken by the authorities to facilitate and enhance the stay of MREs in Morocco during this summer vacation. In a press release, the Urban Agency of Marrakech indicated that it had received instructions from the Ministry of National Land Use Planning, Urban Planning, Housing and City Policy, for the establishment of this counter.
Open permanently, the AUM will have to welcome as many MREs as possible and process their files quickly and professionally. At the counter level, a platform is also planned that will allow MREs to access the services of this establishment via the website (www.aumarrakech.ma) as well as a toll-free number (0 802 000 100).
